Diego J. Aranda Teixeira is a licensed attorney in New York with nearly five years' experience in immigration law. Diego is also admitted before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Diego cares deeply about immigrants' rights and has spent the last two years focusing on federal and administrative immigration appeals. Diego has been interviewed by Televisa and other news organizations to provide analysis of immigration law on the ground.
ACADEMICS AND AWARDS
Diego graduated from University College London (part of the University of London), and from New York University. He is a recipient of the Dean’s Award NYU International Law & Development Fellowship , from NYU; the Ella Cheong Intellectual Property Scholarship from the National University of Singapore; the Nicholas Pumfrey Memorial Award from the Middle Temple Inn of Court, London; and Matrícula de Honor awards in Spanish Administrative Law & Spanish Property Law from Girona University, Spain. Diego was a publications director of his faculty law review while at University College London, and pursued an internship at the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva.
